That's kind of the point with her in the 1970s isn't it? Female partner, unusual in the office at that time (if at all), and they all are trying to figure out what she does or her role.

This, after leaving the bedroom door open so anyone could see them

Yes, I like Joan's complete worthlessness. She had more value as an office manager than she does as a partner. She has risen into nothingness, facing the consequences of her unethical decision.

I would rather see it from Peggy's view. I think in many ways she's told the story of this season anyway.

But I really don't want Don to die in the series finale or penultimate episode. Either let him live or kill him before then and let the repercussions echo.

Don and Peggy are the central core of the show. Peggy's rise, Don's fall. Roger and Joan are their "role models" or "older selves - I'm almost surprised SC&P hasn't hired another female in the creative dept. (perhaps one who studied advertising in college) It would be interesting to see how Peggy would react to not being the "only girl."

Didn't they have one before the merger? She was sitting between Ginsburg and Stan in a scene and she was terrible....I think someone even called her new Peggy.

"Nice knowing you," she said. She could see the handwriting on the wall.

Yes, and of course Megan was a copy writer for a time and she quit to pursue acting.

I don't know about porn actress, but I could totally believe her getting caught necking with Mitchell. And I could totally believe Betty completely freaking the fuck out over it.

hondo, one problem with that theory is the series will be all said and done before the 1970s.

Has it actually been said that they will end the series in the 60s? What could stop them from going into the 70s?
