My first thought on the hunting trip:

Oh my God, they killed Kenny!

Also ... that was a tremendous episode, all the way through. Loved how it began with Don curled up all alone in Sally's room and ended with him curled up all alone on the couch.

Moderately important detail: It was Sally's room and her bed.

The scene with Betty and Sally smoking on the way back from boarding school, and Sally's line about her father never giving her anything, was stellar.

I really do enjoy the "fun" Weiner has at the viewers expense. You have Ken get shot and then several scenes before you find out he isn't dead and nobody is treating it as a big deal.

Roger Sterling is high on my list of favorite TV show characters, and his knee-jerk "Shiver me timbers" was amazing.

That's my take on it, too. I think the way he's grown into this in relation to Sally (not necessarily as an actor, but his character) is a great storyline in a perfect place. I hope there's a little more of it, frankly.

Woke my wife up I was laughing so hard at Sterling last night. Don't forget the crack about Cyclops either.

That was excellent. But it really stuck with me that Roger had no idea what happened to Ken, but his very first reaction was "Shiver me timbers!" It was a perfect Roger Sterling moment.

Every time Don's phone rang, I expected it to be that news and have everything come grinding to a halt. It was so well-done.

will Betty become the original cougar when Glenn comes-a-calling now that puberty is about over?
