Yes, Weiner says so in the interview I linked above.

This season was 13, just as all the previous seasons have been (they count the 2-hour finale premieres as two episodes in the official total, so last night was Episode 78 overall).

You mean two-hour season premiere. I wish the finale's were two hours.

    Right. My bad.

  4. I think we are left to assume that because he crapped out in Detroit, that he became the account guy for Sunkist -- Don's "two-person" team

That's my belief, too. However, he was noticeably absent from the Thanksgiving morning "meeting" of partners.

I thought the finale was very entertaining and a nice conclusion to the season. That unspoken exchange between Don and Sally really worked for me.

Weiner's brilliance is in the small crumbs he gives us, the call between Don and Bertie; the Don and Sally look, just great.

Was Ted really being sincere about "saving" Peggy or was he just taking the easy way out?

Stan is second only to Roger in great lines: "I'm going to have that sandwich on my desk. I need to get to it before you do."

    Ted totally shoplifted the pootie.

    I can see that, too.

My question, and I'm not saying I hope to see it, but ... before that, what are the chances that Draper hits on Peggy at least once? And if it happens, what is his predicted pass completion percentage?

I thought Pete had the line of the show, filed in the unintentional comedy section: "She loved the sea." It was just so Pete.
