I'm a week behind now on the episodes and many years behind on this opinion, but I finally have to stop defending Pete Campbell.

For him to give that look of disgust to a beaten, bloody woman on his couch? Unbelievable.

Cheat on your wife with your friend's wife: Good

See your wife kissing a male actor as part of a television show: Bad.

I'm soooo rooting for Megan to find out about Don and the neighbor and absolutely destroy him in the divorce.

Once again, Roger Sterling steals the scenes with very little work.

Easily my favorite character on this show right now.

Stan shooting Peggy a non-blurred-out bird has to be a first for basic cable, no?

Did anyone else think that was an all-time great Mad Men? I watch the show largely for its zaniness, and that was on full display in every story line. It was delightful.

Matt Weiner thumbing his nose at the industry by hiring show-killer Ted McGinley.

I thought last night was solid.

    Some observations...

Surprised Harry went crazy and demanded a partnership. Even more surprised he didn't get fired. Perhaps waiting for Bert and Roger to set a trap door.

Predicting Megan finds out about Don and the doc's wife in two episodes but wondering if Megan will stray as she is constantly angry with Don. Anticipate the doc will come home from the hospital earlier than expected one day.

As the MLK assassination date approaches, I can feel a buildup of Dawn's character. Curious if the rioters will insert Dawn into the aftermath of April 4. It is a cliche for any movie/show set in 1968 for the characters to be affected by MLK/RFK killings. If that's done here, I hope it isn't forced.

Ted will use up Peggy for the Heinz account and then cut her loose. But it will get out that she let the Heinz availability slip and she will be blackballed.

They didn't get the Heinz account. J. Walter Thompson did.

And she didn't let the Heinz availability slip. Stan told her.

Stone Cold laughs at this line.
