It seems like a no win situation-- "I'm sorry", "That was amazing" or "thank you for last night" all fraught with pit falls.

She can't sue him for sexual harrassment. It hadn't been invented yet. :D

The 80's should be a fun time for the Mad Men. Most of time they will be in court/ rehab/ chemo and the women will be wearing those A-sexual suits with little ties.

As has been noted, Don mentioned she would be getting a bonus well before the hookup. I assumed the card was already sealed before they smushed.

It was added to the horribleness of the scene.

Was she typing her resignation at the end?

    That was my thought, 'yab.

I don't think she was typing her resignation. This is 1964. What are her options? I may be wrong but I think she's just carrying on with her work.

JR a lot of us would not have a reference point for the workplace in 1964 ;)

Well, you do actually. The TV show nails it perfectly. :)

Talk about an unsatisfying quickie, Don's got no mojo. Her hair wasn't messed up, she didn't even take off her shoes.
She was willing, take her gd clothes off.

She did take off her shoes. They showed her kicking them off. Agree that the rest was bad form on Don's part.
