That was hilarious, how the basically said Don drank so much he skipped from Friday to Sunday. That and the lady from Saturday night was not good looking by Don's standards.

I didn't like the way he treated Peggy in this episode. He does that about every few shows. And why did they take Joan? Is this the beginning of a story line where Peggy goes to Gray or somewhere else? BTW, this is completely off topic, I was in Gray last year and a bunch of the employees had been bag chairs for desk chairs. That was fun.

Also, what's up with Pete and Ken? Pete is always a dick to that guy. And I feel like, somewhere down the road, Ken is going to be the one who is more succesful because he is friendly, and more likeable. Not that Pete hasn't developed significantly since season 1, but it was always Ken who all the younger guys liked. They admired him when he was published in the Atlantic Monthly, and he seemed to be the one to get the huge accounts back at Sterling-Cooper.

I'm interested in where this is going, and I'm also interested if we are going to see any more of Kinsey.

I wish Sal would come back. Their current art director is a total dbag. I loved Peggy taking control of the situation and putting him in his place.

Peggy dropping a few small dick jokes, top notch.
Also, did Sterling hire Don, or did Draper just get him drunk and show up and tell him he had a job?

Hamm is fun to watch, he did the early Draper like a wide-eyed Barney Rubble. Nice shot again with Sterling looking at his wife's cousin getting hired and him remembering Draper on his first day.

That waitress screamed "Perkins waitress." (Weiner a Tiger fan?)

I think that was a Howard Johnson's waitress uniform. There used to be a HoJo's at Times Square

Batt let drop last night at the awards that he thought
character Sal was currently "experimenting" in the East Village. That's
either a big-time clue, and/or Weiner is going to roast Batt for
leaving the cat an opening out of the bag.

Says to me he's still in purgatory limbo. Pretty innocuous comment. I think he's gonna come back though to either save SCDP's ass on a project as a director/art director, or he's gonna surrender the leather cheerio to that bad Lucky Strike client to help his current agency steal the business.
