Just caught up last night. Wow -- was The Suitcase amazing.

When Don said to Peggy about there being another way out of the office, I thought about the opening credits and how I think it will all end.

Well, Mrs. Blankenship has been written out. For some reason, I had a flashback to that 80s movie Teachers with Nick Nolte...when the old teacher "Ditto" died at his desk.

"I'd have my secretary do it, but she's dead."

Awesome line. That whole scene cracked meup.

And Sally is turning out to be quite the little handful. If this shows goes a few years ahead, she'll be smoking doobs and banging half the football team in high school.

Very powerful scene when the Joan, Peggy, and the blonde doctor walk in behind Sally to just give Betty their nasty looks.

And one other thing I noticed: When Don tried to defend himself with the woman who had found Sally on the subway, he said, "I've offered you money and I said thank you." Sounds like he learned a little something from that confrontation with Peggy.

Rum as a breakfast topping left me rolling.

So is there any way Dr. Greg's plane doesn't crash on the way to Vietnam?

I noticed Joan started wearing a pen around her neck this episode. Had she done it before?

RIP Miss Blankenship - you will be missed.

Joan's been wearing that pen for a very long time.

Someone mentioned a few episodes back about a woman wearing a pen around her neck as a way to draw attention to her chest ... not that Joan needs that ...

Oh, I don't doubt he gets there . . . but there's no friggin' way he returns in one piece.

The young actress who plays Sally has really shown some chops since losing the lisp. She’s doing an uncanny impression of betty these days. Apples and trees, ya know?
