I loved how the kid verbally spit in Betty's face, good for him.

As for Meghan, I think she's fine with Don, whoever he is. She sees the good in Don and is willing to take whatever downside there is. Remember, she's his secretary so she knows more about him than your normal outsider (my secretary knows just about everything about me since she has to tell everyone where I am).

No doubt Betty was angling for Don but I knew that would never fly because Don is so over Betty he look so relaxed around her these days. She knows everything about him, Whitman and all, and he doesn't care.

If Harry is fed up with her, she's going to be in the discard bin very soon and wishing that even a young boy was around to leer at her because she's not good at anything else, like raising her kids. Let me tell you when my kids were 1.5-2, they did not sit still at the edge of the pool like Gene, they were going right towards the water.

The name's a direct lift . . . and Weiner would be lost at sea in terms of the industry's
creative mindset, without the book Daniels wrote.

The importance of getting off the schneid post-Lucky Strike's departure cannot be underestimated.

Does anyone know anything about Topaz?

I cannot find anything on Google about them. Do they become a huge company in the future?

The late 60s brought us the horrific creation of thick indestructible pantyhose, along with snappy campaigns for L'eggs ('We'll sell pantyhose in plastic eggs! Duh! Our Leggs fit your legs!') and others. I figured the Topaz deal was just another nod to the new focus on women as consumers (Virginia Slims, etc).

But every other company they have mentioned on there is searchable, right?

    Topaz just seems so cloaked.

    That was damn good.

So Topaz just went under in the late 1970s?
