Don is acknowledging what the viewers believe to be true; he's gonna cave to his base instincts and find a way to f*ck it all up.

There are nights when this show wears its "Sopranos" influence on its sleeve.

Last night was one of those nights.

I had no idea. That's heartbreaking.

Last nights ep was the best since The Suitcase, I thought. Go read Sepinwall if you haven't yet. Ties together a lot of threads.

    What about Elisabeth Moss?

I'm assuming everyone figured, "dream," right, as soon as he killed her?

Also: I assume that's why he was sick the whole show, from a storytelling standpoint? To set up a hallucination sequence?

I thought it was also a good chance to see how caring a wife Megan Draper is.

Also, if you're going to comment on the Mad Men thread, you should set up an alias named Don Draper first.

You know what's funny? When I first set it up, I totally screwed up. "Don Draper" is the alias, and thus should have been the handle. So I basically botched my own little secret identity "Mad Men" watcher inside joke.

It was a nice way to show Megan is a good person and wife. But we all know Don is going to ruin it. Him giving into that woman in the hallucination should be enough to make us believe.

I think it's interesting to see that Megan has turned into much more than a cipher. When he chose her over Dr. Miller, I think most people were pissed because he chose the young vapid tart over the substantive, challenging woman. Obviously Megan is challenging, too, and stands up to him and keeps him honest in a way less passive aggressive way than the reprehensible Betty ever did. I think he'll blow it eventually, but I think he made a rash decision but lucked into a great situation.

Yeah, I was thinking dream sequence, although in the back of my mind, I was thinking it would be a hell of a game-changer for the show to have Don/Dick cover up a murder.

Drunk Peggy is the best. Just the best.

Awkward pauses on the show should now always include a guy playing the accordion.

    Ozzie Guillen likes Dr. Greg.
