    I'm tired. I meant "adversity."

The older I get, the moar I make misteaks like that.

...They do keep referring to that rifle in his office...one way or another, he's gonna shoot somebody one day. Maybe himself.

Being on the west coast, I saw some facebook comments loosely discussing the show by accident. When they fought and Pete got up and stormed out afterwards, I was like "oh no, don't get the gun...too easy of a choice..."

I don't get why people want to like Pete.

    He's really awful.

Don was awful, yes, but you can tell we're supposed to like him, at least somewhat.

What draws people to Pete Campbell?

  4. Didn't go back to check but I'm pretty sure I hard Pete call Don "Dick" when he scampered to get the tool box. Am I the only one who thought the fight was overthe top, like the lawnmower episode?

The fight would have been better if Lane dropped him in two seconds with a straight right.

If you thought the lawnmower was over the top, I can understand you thinking this was.

To me, it's moments like that that make this show great.

This show goes places it isn't supposed to. And it does it well. Really well.

Fat Betty, a baby's choad, a farting baby, Pete vs. Lane, Zou Bsu Bsu or however it's spelled - and that's just through four episodes this season.

I don't think the fight was over the top at all.

He has a lot of redeeming moments. Almost.

He's one of the most socially progressive people in the office. He works hard and his accounts are a big reason the firm is staying afloat. He seems like he's trying to be a cool, reasonable guy.

He just keeps getting chances to show positive personal growth, and he drops trou and craps all over every one of them.

At the end of the day, he's a privileged punk. And he can't help himself by now.

What he said to Lane to precipitate the fight is the best example of it.

Right. There's nothing I disagree with, there.

I guess that attracts some folks.

To me, Roger can't help but be what he is. And Don, whatever he is, has made himself, and come by it honest.

Pete's just awful, often to be awful. And that's really unlikable, even on a show where none of the characters are "likable".

The only less likable character is Betty, and they share a lot, really.

I'm having to watch on a tiny TV screen and am missing some stuff.

Last week, was was written on the note Dawn left for Peggy? Was the $400 taken out of the purse? That wasn't clear to me.

    Thanks.
