Do Don's secretary (played by Randi Heller) and Betty's dad count?

Anna Draper, the wife of the real Don Draper

 

Mad Men hasn't killed a major character yet, which is why it's about time to kill a major character.

 

But she didn't become a major character until she was already dying, and even then for only a few weeks. I'd file her under RECURRING characters.

They might as well have killed Sal and Paul. Won't seem them no more ...

 

None of the characters below Stan Rizzo on that list are major.

 

Caught up on the last two episodes. Thought they did some interesting things with the editing - also found it funny that Draper has never had a problem blowing off work, but goes in when he's as sick as he was.

 

They did kill off the real Don Draper.

 

Dick Whitman's brother. And his father. And his mother.

OK, not major characters, but you get the idea.

Pete's a goner, is my call.

 

I'm gonna go the other way. I think he ends up running the joint eventually. He takes that embarassment and it fuels him. Like him or not _ and we're almost preconditioned not to because he is "us" and we all really want to be Don _ he's good at his job.
