Dennis Haskins had already been on an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Charlie's old gym teacher, so Mr. Belding's portly appearance wasn't stunning.

On a side note, I had never heard Bob Dylan's original version of All Along The Watchtower until it clicked on my Springsteen Pandora mix yesterday. Amazing how Jimi Hendrix just took ownership of that song.

  3. The Cure also has an interesting version of All Along the Watchtower.

BTW - it was VERY important to Jimmy Hendrix how Dylan would receive his version of the song. Hendrix was really happy that Dylan liked it.

Pretty sure Dylan said Hendrix completely redefined the song for him, and when he played it in the future, he replaced the harmonica parts with guitar (as Hendrix had) and said it felt like every time he played it he was paying homage to Hendix. High praise.

It's either that or Janis' version of Me and Bobby McGee as the most ownership of a cover song.

What about TMBG's cover of "Istanbul?" :D

Aretha Franklin's "Respect" was originally an Otis Redding song.

Since Bobby has frequently found "inspiration" in the work of others, this is no surprise.

Good to see Lippman landed on his feet.

"How Jewish are they? 'Fiddler on the Roof': audience or cast?"

"Lovely Megan, I went to buy a light bulb. When I get back I'll see you better."

His skills in the office are rusty (perhaps beyond repair) but his fastball is a thing to behold.
