The unreliable Jaguar ignition was a nice touch.

With each passing episode, I get closer to declaring this one of the top five television series in history.

Marten Weiner, son of Matthew, plays Glen.

Nepotism still rules. The kid is a horrible actor

Not only is he a terrible actor, Matthew Weiner doesn't think Glen is creepy. I'll have to dig for the link. Too tired to do it now, though.

Yeah, that was great, and I found it funny that, after breaking his glasses he was using one lens to try to see what was wrong with the engine.

Don's got to feel like absolute shit after this.

You know, I've made the comparisons between Pete and Don to try to defend Pete many times, but tonight reminded me why I'm wrong on that.

Don's willingness to accept a quiet, dignified resignation showed that he's a hell of a guy.

    I suppose you're right.

Funny, though. My first thought when he called Lane in was that he was going to cover for him after a stern warning. I was surprised it went down like it did.

I agree that Junior Weiner is not a good actor, but like January Jones, I think the character actually works because of that stiffness. I mean, real teenage bots ARE little weirdos. They're not slick and cool.

I also think Weiner is lying about the creepy thing to protect his own kid, should he read it. He knows damn well what he's doing with the character.

(One of the things Craig and I would do every Monday is dissect the previous night's episode of Mad Men. He's always include what was being written here when giving me his analysis. A couple of people have said it would be just fine if I stayed around at the board. This is one thread I'd like to follow.)

I had not liked this season until the last two episodes. Well, except for Roger. I have loved Roger this year.

The jaguar misfunction and Laine trying to fix it with his broken glasses was awesome.

I laughed when Roger said to Don after the Dow meeting "I'll take you for a drink if you'll wipe the blood off your mouth." (please tell me I'm not the only one here who remembers the protests against Dow)

A question from the episode before (that I kept meaning to ask Craig about but we kept talking about other things that night) - I didn't get Don's kissing Peggy's hand at the end. They had a special relationship, but that kind of kiss didn't ring true to that relationship. Can someone explain why I'm wrong? It's a rare jarring moment for me.
