The Crash was weirder. And a better episode for my money. Tap dancing Ken Cosgrove is one of the most bizarre and wonderful things I 've ever seen on television.

These weird episodes are the only way for Weiner to unmoor a place as staid as a Madison Avenue office, I suppose. I enjoy them.

So which was more out of the ordinary:

    - Guy cutting off his own nipple

    or

-Guy getting foot cut off by lawnmower a few seasons ago

They reconciled over the phone a few weeks back after he returned to NYC from his ill-fated surprise trip to LA. He called and she was crying, but they both apologized.

I read Tim Goodman's review (The Hollywood Reporter) - I don't know if he understood what the hell was going on either, but he was cool with it.

The more I think about the last episode, the less I like it. Actually, the more I think about this season, the less I like it.

Strangest thing of all the strange things? A Mad Men episode ended with a Waylon Jennings song.

The Megan-Stephanie interaction was so weird. It seemed like they were sort of flirting with each other and then Megan turned to be so mean towards her. Strange.

Megan always feels threatened by the other women in Don's life, especially those that know more about Don/Dick than she does.

Also, whipping out the checkbook to get rid of a relative from the past was a callback to Don's move with his brother in Season 1.

The fact they brought Stephanie back was funny, considering I thought the woman that said hello to Don when he was meeting with the competing advertising guy at dinner.

I must have forgotten the Don-Megan reconciliation.

Another weird thing: Megan takes the steak away from Stephanie, and when Stephanie goes to leave, Megan says, "But you haven't eaten anything yet."

She said she didn't want the steak.
