In his defense, Elizabeth Olsen can get it, too.

Don't worry, Don. I always thought she was kind of overrated anyway.

Jesus, that was bad. At least I didn't call her Elizabeth Zoe Olsen Bartlett.

They are running out of stream. I'm having trouble finding reasons to care about what happens to Don or Peggy or Roger or Pete.

I do think it's funny that Pete "I Would Give Anything To Be Don Draper" Campbell is boinking a Betty Draper lookalike.

I will bet 8 million internet dollars that before this two-year season is over, Don's potential desertion problems come back.

I loved Pete Campbell's transformation. Never saw that coming.

I believe Weiner is a big enough asshole in real life to finish this show off right, with no fan service. I'm going to love it. But I could see the ratings plummet. He actively antagonizes his own fans (Megan's teeth, Pete's gun). That means he's not going to rescue anyone. This will be a true to life document of the era crashing and burning. That final scene of S6 turned out to be such a headfake.

I think the Sharon Tate allusions are a similar Weiner yank of the fans' chain.

Agreed. And I think he created just enough mystery around the therapy/self-help Roger's daughter is involved in to stoke up talk about her being involved in a cult like the Manson Family. Nothing will come of it.

Any thought that the Neve Campbell character was a figment of his imagination? Their conversation had a dream-like quality which was so odd and she seemed like a combination of all of the women who he had affairs with over the years.

We'll find out when he's banging her in the next episode, I guess.

Soon as I saw the Neve Campbell character, I figured Don was joining the Mile High Club, if he wasn't already a charter member. Wrong.

We had binged our way through Breaking Bad and, near the end, were driven to find out the various characters' fates. No such urgency with Mad Men as it heads toward its finale. Guess the absence of violence and the sense that Weiner can/will do whatever he pleases with each character saps it of that feeling.

I'm A Man was fine. But the Vanilla Fudge cover of Keep Me Hanging On was the bomb.
