Don't tell me you don't watch baseball. The elevator scene was fantastic.

Betty's hesitation to walking to the crying baby was very well done. She is a housewife, and I think somehow she will see Peggy's Manhattan lifestyle as very appealing.

Prior to marrying Don, that was her life. A model living with other models in Manhatten. She was a party girl in the late 50's.

But she has chosen to be a mother, and once you have two children out of diapers, doing it all over again is a big decision.

    Peggy made a different choice.

Finally saw it last night...great episode.
Another great cameo as well with nurse Lisa Simpson (Yeardley Smith doing her best not to use her regular voice waking up the police guard).
Also, watched with Ole Lady McGee, she confirmed that in her dreams she too moves up a cup size a la January Jones, she replied "it's a dream, every woman has bigger boobs in her dreams."
I just said, "they do in every guy's dreams too."

Am I the only person who thinks that Betty is going to end up killing or hurting baby Eugene? There were so many ominious signs in this episode. Or was Weiner trying to foreshadow the death of Betty and Don's marriage instead?

They may not go that far with it but I foresee some sort of incident that lands Betty in the rubber room.

don't know if it had a name yet but we're seeing post-partem depression here. i doubt it will reach a point that includes bets hurting the baby, though.

Loved the scene with Sally and the corned beef hash. Has there been an episode where Don doesn't drink or smoke?

Look out, tonight. Remember when they screwed us last year by airing a repeat episode the night of the Emmys,
and wouldn't be surprised should they pull this sleazy stunt, again.

It was new - and probably the best episode of the season. Anyone put off by the leisurely pace probably had a heart attack with the stuff that went down in the latest ep.
Comings and goings, Sally being Sally (she might be my new favorite character on the show), A Hilton staying in the Waldorf-Astoria, somebody ending the episode a foot shorter, Joan, the new org chart, something happens to a certain doctor.... Good stuff.
Some of the best stuff on this show isn't even spoken, a facial expression, someone doing something in the background, meaningful silence. This will probably be the one they submit for the Emmys next year.
