The biggest plot line of Season One revolved around Don's true identity, which is revealed to be Dick Whitman. I'd go back and watch it if you can ... otherwise you're missing a lot.

I didn't tape it - but did Peggy come into the office the next day wearing the same red dress she left in? Very un-Peggy like. But she seems to be in full Don Draper don't give a shit mode.

    Yes, she did.

She did have the same dress on and even a little smile that no one called her on it.
Lot of people turning on Don this week with Cooper, Peggy, Bets, Roger and the teacher all defying him in one way or another.

Also the hitchhikers. Not a good week for Don.

Just a little reminder to us that Don Draper is not the man in control of everything as it may sometimes seem.

He could still nail that teacher with just a little work.

  8. Yeah, but didn't you laugh when he told Betsy to move the end table in front of the designer. It was almost like he did it just to appear interested and then, after he left the room, the designer goes "he's right." Hysterical.

    Oh that was hilarious.

Love how Cooper kind of kept that little nugget in his pocket for just the right occasion.

I think Cooper probably knew about the Dick Whitman thing before that scene with Pete. He probably knew when he hired him because of how it went down. I wouldn't rule out still getting a flashback of that somehow. I still think Don is going to try to find a way to get out of there before that 3-year deal is up.

He might TRY, but can't envision him succeeding -- it would disrupt too many
of the various interpersonal dynamics which make the show great.
