I agree, and the writers can use this contract as a way to explain why he hasn't moved on. He'll want to leave and will be locked in with this contract, so he'll try to find a way out of it.

Plus that contract really is a one-way street, since Cooper -- if he wants to void it -- can always reveal that Draper signed it under an assumed name and false pretenses. Don really is going to have to go along to get along at S-C now, unless he just wants to go off with zip and leave Bets to the middle-aged political guy.

Sepinwall noted that this week's episode might have signaled the death altogether of Dick Whitman, because Don would no longer be able to run whenever he got into trouble. Thought it was a pretty good point.

The most amazing thing to me was seeing Don and Betsy getting down to business and neither one of them seemed to be doing it out of resignation.

Betsy would just be too hard to stomach emotionally. Her running hot and cold is just brutal. How is it that Don did not explode at her with her reaction to the souvenir?

Anybody else notice that the mayor at the city council meeting was The Maestro from Seinfeld fame?

A victim popped up on Dexter last night that I couldn't quite place, then it hit me -- it was the "yada yada" lady.
