And here's why Jon Hamm is so cool.....he's a hockey fan.

This is a very good ad.

I loved the trip to Rome. I presume those scenes weren't actually filmed there.

According to Alan Sepinwall's blog, the lobby of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in LA stood in for the lobby of the hotel in Rome. I'm sure the scenes of Rome were CGI.

Apparently the hotel lobby scenes were shot in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles and the sidewalk cafe with the fountains by it are adjacent to that.

The view out their hotel window looked very fake.

Also, it's hard to think of a celebrity it would be better to trade places with right now than Jon Hamm. He's the epitome of cool, everyone likes him (though he's not can't-leave-the-house, Brad Pitt famous) and he gets to rub up against January Jones and get paid for it.

Not to mention the countless other young beauties he rubs on.

Right in the same ballpark with Betty's crack to the black help in the wake of the King speech on the radio about whether it
was "time", yet . . . as previously noted by others, both Don and Betty are dinosaurs who are underprepared for the
social schisms to come . . . especially as we draw closer to November of the year in question . . .

They better find a way to bring Sal back, because Bryan Batt has played that character so perfectly. Although, I would not be surprised if Sal eats a gun this season.

Any chance Brad Renfro starred in this episode?

What a tight, tense, excellent episode. So dark.
