Jon Hamm is very good. The transition from Draper to Whitman in 2 secs. was memorable. January Jones was great too as the holder of the upper hand.

I'm trying to imagine the alternate-universe episode in which the teacher knocks on the kitchen door just as Bets grabs the bottle of scotch for Don/Dick. After that stuff about "our" house, Mrs. Draper would have been justified in screeching at her hubby, "So you've got this tramp in our Cadillac!?"

Gotta think the bottle of scotch would end up where the flower vase did re: Joan/Greg.

It was awfully convenient to have the teacher simply grab her suitcase and walk away. Would have loved the tension of having her at the door, Bets opening it and sneering at Don/Dick.

Also, given that it was just Halloween and there are two episodes left, is there any doubt that the season finale is going to be pegged to JFK's assassination? Either as a event that dictates the show or as the end-of-hour turning point that spins us into another long offseason?

    A grand for a suit isn't outrageous.

I've finally advanced to season three.

After a massive sprint to catch up, this is the first episode I've watched in order.

    It did not disappoint.

We taking bets on how long until Joan's husband is KIA?

The stuff with Draper and his wife was so good, I watched watched it twice last night.
Draper's story, his mom being a 22-year old whore and etc, sounds like fiction. I wonder if Betty will believe it later down the line.
It appeared she fell for it, at least last night.
The scene with the teacher walking away from the car was good, and their conversation the next day, was gut wrenching, when she asked him how he was doing.
Good to some Roger Sterling awesomeness last night.
