I know, but I just suspected that was a writer trying to get some kind of inside joke in there. Mostly because that's exactly the kind of thing I would try to do.

FYI: Matt Weiner has said in interviews that when Betty had that bar fling, it was her first time cheating.

Ben_Hecht: Why do you expect a big Hamm/Morse scene in the finale?

Because Don told the Brit that Bert Cooper still has something to say about that joint, re: lack of art director? Or do you anticipate fireworks between Draper and Cooper?

    The former . . .

But like others here, I'm dreading the possibility of shithead Duck somehow
coming into the picture with a position of authority above Don. Duck's just been full of himself beyond reason, considering
    what a pusbucket he is.

    We'll see, soon enough.

There's now legitimate, broad speculation that Don D. is in large part based on another creative-director powerhouse,
Draper Daniels, who came up with the Marlboro Man and other strokes of genius
for Leo Burnett, in the City by the Lake . . .

Some nice power plays going on. But cool when Peggy pretty much told Don to get fucked.

And Don roughs the little woman up. Thought he was going to belt her there for a second.

That was one epic hour of television.

Well, that sets up season four nicely. :)

And wasn't it perfect when no one knew where anything was, Roger calls Joan?

And Don's idea of Lane firing all the senior people at Sterling Cooper was brilliant.

Say what you will about Don, he's a master of lateral thinking.
