Helton and Thomas work, but Gwynn probably had more than a few infield hits during his career. The guy once stole 56 bases in a single season and finished his career with 317 steals. He reached double digits 11 times in his career, the last when he stole 12 bases in 1997, when he was 37 years old.

In Gwynn's defense, they used to stash cheeseburgers underneath second base at Jack Murphy as incentive.

Absolutely my favorite TV profanity dub of all time.

Monkey fighting snakes on the Monday to Friday plane was pretty good.

Nowhere near as good as the one at the end of Die Hard 2, when McClain blows up the plane.
They turned "Yippee-Kay-Yay, motherfucker!" into "Yippee-Kay-Yay, Mr. Falcon!"

Another good one is in Back to the Future, Part 2. Michael J. Fox is looking right at the camera and says, "Holy shit!" which turns into "Holy (Geez!)"

"Good news fans, the Indians are showing signs of life for the first time in weeks. As a matter of fact they appear to be beating the crap out of each other. It looks like Willie Hayes is trying to hit Rick Vaughn, and why not, everyone else in the league does. Hayes swings and misses. I don't know Monte, it looks like Vaughn is carrying his left a little low. This could hurt him in the later rounds."

My favorite dub came when I made the mistake of watching the Big Lebowski on WGN or some such station.

"This is what happens Larry! This is what happens when you FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS!!!"

Probably why I've stayed out of Bavaria.

Yep, that's the all-time champion TV edit. Nothing could ever come close. What could finding a stranger in the Alps possibly mean or have anything to do with anything?
