    Quick hits:

4lom (gray dude): was a former protocol droid who went nuts. His body is the same as C3P0 more or less.

bossk: (lizard dude): he is wearing a modified RAF flight uniform.

Dengar (bandaged guy): I always imagined him as a former rebel who was horribly marred in battle and turned evil. That’s not his story, but it was mine.

zuckuss: (bug dude) reminded me of the aliens from BSG that ate colonials. He was misidentified (along with 4lom) in commercials.

IG88: he was one of the rare Star Wars toys that you could fit a gun in each hand and not destroy the grip.

What’s the point of bringing back Christensen? He’s already Vader, and under the mask. He’s a pretty bad actor (not as bad as he was in Star Wars, but not good). What’s he going to bring to the show?

“Rangers” is set “within the timeline of ‘The Mandalorian,’” according to the release I saw, and its plot climax is supposed to coincide with that of “The Mandalorian.” Now you know why pairs of X-wing pilots are just randomly flitting around the Outer Rim together making traffic stops, shooting up space monsters and leaving calling cards with ex-Rebels without a cause.

Filoni and Favreau are set to co-produce “Ahsoka,” and I think we’ll be hunting Thrawn in that one.

Damn. Disney went nuts with the announcements today. I'm more excited about the Marvel stuff, but I'll be watching all of these as well.

Nah, still thinking that this ends with Din Djarin holding the Darksaber as Mandalore the Uniter or something like that, rebuilding the Mandalorian society.

Yeah. Damn, content overload. I’ll be watching.

Bringing Christensen back to play Vader in the Obi Wan series is interesting. Obviously they can’t meet or it’s a huge plot issue. Wonder if he’ll have his helmet off some of the time. All charred. And ... James Earl Jones is like 90. Guessing that they can create a voice match now.

In other stuff Christensen was ok. (Shattered Glass). And he was pretty solid in Sith. The best of the prequel flicks. Haven’t seen him in much since. I thought the Star Wars backlash sort of make him quit the biz. Which makes this surprising.

I haven’t read them, but I’m told the recent Vader comic series is really good. I wonder if this might be a test run for a Darth Vader show. If Christensen does ok.

Some of Christensen’s issues were due to Lucas’ stilted dialog and obsession with green screen.

I would watch a series on badass Vader. Like the end of Rogue One.

I've read some of the Vader comics, which are very good. What I've seen is a mixture of Vader as a badass and Vader struggling with being a pawn of the Emperor while still being obsessed with Padme.

Missed one. Can't say I'm as interested in this as the others, but that's a hell of a lot of content on the way.

    Damn. A full year away.

This show has been good from the start, but I think it is really hitting its stride in the back half of the second season. Chapter 15 is another strong one.
