    Remain calm. All is well.

And, I'm not sorry, but if Mank ain't the stupidest motherfucker I've seen on this site, then I'll eat my hat. Jesus fucking christ. Get a life.

Edit: Yeah, I stand by these comments.

    There. Fixed that for you.

Long doesn't need to be defended. He is the hitting coach for the team that is second in the major leagues in runs scored.

For a moment, I'm going to assume that you aren't just engaging in performance art, Manky.

Jeter's skills are declining. He's getting old. Get over it.

Tony LaRussa hit .199 in 132 games over parts of six seasons in the big leagues. Yeah, he's done nothing as a manager.

When exactly did this place morph into sportsfanboi.com?

Nice try, but La Russa is not a hitting coach.

I think the economic crisis is drawing too much of Jetes' attention. So, peoples of America...please vote in competent leaders so THE Captain can get back to being the bestest player in baseball. The world needs him to break Pete Rose's all-time hits record so that baseball can once again be loved worldwide instead of just in impoverished countries where people wear fruit on their head.

He isn't the hitting coach for the second highest-scoring offense in baseball, either, but you like to little facts that don't help you.

Dude, please just put our minds at ease and admit to the peformance art already.

What joe said. And that's quite an accomplishment. Take a bow, Manky.

Well, that's as entertaining of a 5.5-page read as I've had in a while.... perhaps since the provably, demonstrably short-lived days of JVD.

That might have sounded like hyperbole but their hitting issues could easily be the difference between championship #28 and a first-round exit. They have weaknesses and they need to shore them up between now and October.
