    With Hurricane Irene being overhyped, it's a shame they canceled yesterday's game...Jeter was the hottest he'd ever been in his career then is forced to take a day off. Goes 0 for 4. Damn.

    Here's a question: what MLB player has played in front of the most fans during their career? I have to think Jetes is the all time leader, given his long career and the Yankees attendance at home and on the road. So here's another record he owns.

    So after tonight, the Yankees have 30 games left. Assuming Jeter plays in all 30 and keeps getting ABs at his 4.2 per game pace, he'll get 126 more at-bats.

    In order to hit .310, he'll need to hit .358 the rest of the way. And if he misses games, that figure goes up.

    I question Jetes' masculinity. I know if I had Minka waiting at home, and she was unhappy and thinking about moving on, I would stay at home with her to make sure she hung around. The Yankees would be better off without Jeter this year anyway. They are going to the playoffs this season in spite of him.
