c'mon, kid, if a player isn't part of the discussion at this point, with his team already in first place, there's no way for him to get into the discussion at all. especially not with AT LEAST two players on his own team who have been legit candidates from the get-go.i don't care if your beloved 'jeets' homers in every game left this season, he can NEVER, EVER convince anyone over 12 that he's deserving.

    cripes...

but,, bravo. you got me again. there truly is a talent to coming up with statements so obtuse that they are impossible to ignore. you've got us up to 20 freakin' pages with your babble.

Manky will be unavailable until after his last class lets out about 3 p.m. Then he has spelling homework to do.

You might be surprised I'm old enough to remember this, but Chipper Jones won his MVP mainly because he had a great September (especially a series against the Mets where he hit like 6 homers).

Granderson is not a legit MVP candidate. He's played poorly against winning teams.

Granderson has a 1.538 OPS (1.000 SLG) against the Rangers in 9 games, 6 HRs 13 RBI in 9 games.

A 1.375 OPS against the Angels.

He's done poorly agains the Tigers and has a pedestrian .813 OPS against the BOSOX.

OTOH 21 of his 38 HRs have been solo HRs

    Now that's funny.

I knew I'd had missed some comedic gold in the first 19 pages.

I guess that means Jeter is out of the conversation as well since he's hitting a sterling .215 with a .513 OPS against the Red Sox.
