Sometimes I think I'm the only sane one on this board.

John Lennon was also a nasty prick for much of his life. Better learn your history about Lennon and the Beatles if you want to debate that topic with me, my friend. Just because he wrote a lame song like "Give Peace A Chance" doesn't mean he lived his entire life that way.

Sorry, I couldn't care less about the Beatles or Lennon. I liked George Harrison but most of their music is crap.

Here are some lists of most and least liked athletes. Baseball players barely move the scales. I assume A-Rod or Jetes would still top the list in terms of baseball players, and they barely register. I can't be good for baseball.

John Lennon is the Ted Williams of music. He was great for his era but in today's music scene he would sound like John Resnick. He could sing a little guitar and had some stage presence, but nothing special.

So five minutes after telling me what Lennon stood for, you admit you know nothing about him or the Beatles? Nice work! You're making progress. Now, the next step is to admit you know nothing about sports or their history. Until then, go listen to your Justin Bieber CD.

Yes, of all the people on this thread, it's Manky who is coming off poorly.

I didn't say that. I said most of their music sucks, except for George Harrison's work and a scattered few other songs.

You think because I don't bow to the greatness of Lennon I'm a Bieber fan? If we're talking 1960s rock I prefer the Who and CCR.
