    jeepers, with two hits this afternoon jeter is back up to .298. the stubborn s.o.b. just might hit the .300 mark yet. :eek:

    Only 6 points behind Cano for best batting average on the team. But I'm sure I can find people on here that will argue that he's hurt the team.

    Nobody, but you're talking to a guy who posted elsewhere that he believes Jeter may not be Ozzie Smith's equal defensively, but it's close. In other words, Manky abandoned reality on the topic of Derek Jeter long ago and every time you think he can't post anything more ridiculous, he tops himself.

    Now if only he would just keep his silly little game here rather than pissing all over legitimate discussions.

    hey, give manky credit for turning jeter into a hof player, an all-time yankee and that rare present-day star who is an unassailable role model for our children into someone they feel they must run down to bring the fanboi ravings back down to this planet.

    JETER AT .300 AFTER 3-FOR-4 TODAY!! he should rest 'til the playoffs.
