Jeter wasn't the sole reason for their rings

Explain that to ESPN and maybe they'll stop. Also everyone will stop jocking Jordan.

No, but he was the reason they invented the game. So he could become ... Manky's Man Crush!

0-3 tonight for the Captain. Maybe only one more game to get the old average back up to .300. At this point it doesn't matter if he hits .305 or .295 or whatever. He's silenced the critics and is on his way to his 17th postseason.

It has been a joy watching the Sox choke this past month.

He hasn't silenced his critics at all. The only people that criticized anything said the Yanks paid him too much, which they absolutely did.

Left fielder made an unbelievable catch to rob him of what probably would have been a triple.

Ahh...I missed tonight's game. Give him that hit and he's at .300 again.

Oh well, there will be more .300 seasons to come from Jeter

Why are we just giving him hits now? Because he's inferior to Chipper? BTW, Jones homered tonight

You talking about the Chipper Jones who got moved off his natural position mid-career because he couldn't hack it defensively?

This one is fantastic. It hits all the right notes.

As opposed to Captain Intangibles, who refused to move from his natural position out of pure selfishness.

Did anyone even ask him to move? I really don't think anyone did, as that would have been ridiculous.

Someone should find out if the Phillies asked Mike Schmidt to move off third base when they signed Pete Rose...
