Is the same shit going to be posted every time the discussion comes up? Now there is testing in MLB. Can we say the same How do we know shit for anyone in the NFL?

You strike me as an intelligent man, Rick, and I enjoy your contributions to this board more often than not. But I think you're over-thinking this.

Look at Jeter's body. With allowances for the normal filling-out process, he is essentially built the same way he was when he came up in 95. And unlike obvious users like Bonds and Clemens who put together monster statistical seasons in their late 30s, the natural erosion of Jeter's skills as he heads toward 40 is even more proof that he did it the right way.

Either he's clean or he's the only guy in baseball whose steroids didn't work.

Yes. Testing will always be behind current chemistry. There will never, ever be a professional athlete who I am comfortable saying did not use PEDs.

But it's just odd that it never seems to come up in the NFL. also odd that other than Merriman it's usually a backup who gets caught. a fogotten joke about the NFL is what a crock of shit it was when Goodell talked about how the testing policy had been in place for so long and the NFL was against PEDs. not to sound like an MLB or Selig apologist but at least in baseball Manny was caught twice. part of that probably is him being a moron but i wonder if Goodell wants us to believe that in the NFL they catch guys and no multi-time Pro Bowlers are cheating.

It doesn't come up in the NFL because nobody cares who is PEDing.

yeah pretty true, although when some retired player is sick and atriibutes it to roids people care. but as far as cheating i guess if just about everyone is using how is it cheating. the thing in baseball is the all time records are a big part of the game.

Sorry, that argument doesn't hold up at all. There have been some skinny guys who have been busted for steroids. You can't always tell based on a guy's build.

What is it with you and ARod? And how do you know his time in New York has been 'difficult' because of Jeter? Are you his shrink?

They were skinnier before they took roids though. It won't turn Jose Reyes into Albert Pujols but it will turn Jose Reyes into bigger Jose Reyes. Ask anyone who has taken them and they will tell you.

I have explained this to you many times, Manky. It's not my fault that you are too busy playing your goofy little game to get it.
