    Re: Running Derek Jeter Thread

You've told us you have read over 40 books on Lennon. It's obviously an obsession.

Ok, just to make you happy: Lennon songs that I like:

Whatever Gets You Thru The Night
    Just Like Starting Over
    Don't Let Me Down
I Don't Want to Spoil the Party
    Walrus

That's all I can think of...

I hope he does, he entertains. It's a hell of a lot more than some bring to the table.

Ah, Mankster. Screwing up the facts again. I said "probably 30-40" books on The Beatles and Lennon. Not "over" 40. And if you've never heard "Imagine" you need to get out of mom's basement more, son. Not my favorite Lennon song but probably his most famous.

What is it with you and Jeter? And how do you know A-Rod's time in New York hasn't been 'difficult' because of him? Are you his shrink?

Prediction: Tonight's game goes extra innings, Verlander no hits the Yankees for 12 innings and Captain Jetes goes 0-for-6 before leaving the Stadium in disgrace after booting a ball to give the Tigers a 1-0 victory.

I believe Derek Jeter finishes his career with more hits than the amount of strikeouts Nolan Ryan had for his entire career.

Alright, couldn't say that with straight face. Move on, Manky.

Jetes finishes with more strikeouts than hits Nolan Ryan allowed? I'll buy that!

Paging Mankster! Manky to the white courtesy phone! What the heck, Mank? Captain MVP goes 0-for-5, strands FIVE runners, whiffs twice, makes an error and is batting .200 in the postseason. Isn't he supposed to be the greatest player in the history of ... well, in history? Meanwhile, Miguel Cabrera is batting .429 in the ALDS after going 3-for-4 with three RBI and a homer. MVP Jetes my butt!
