    Could you have Cashman ask him to cure cancer and fix the economy while he's at it? I'm sure Jetes can work that into his schedule ... SINCE HE'S NOT TIED UP BY PLAYING IN THE WORLD SERIES!

    They should be playing. I guess the best record in the AL doesn't mean anything.

    Well by this standard the Yanks shouldn't have made the WS in 1996, 2000 or 2001. Care to confirm that belief?

    I'm just surprised you didn't blame Kevin Long for Jeter's inability to hit for power

    I don't mind if Texas wins, they're due. New York will be back in the World Series next year.

    I didn't say it would be easy, just that I want the Yankees to get him.

    By the way, the Yankees let a World Series MVP walk away a few years ago. It's not unprecedented.
