I do think Cashman will pull off a big trade or free agent signing. He knows Yankees fans deserve it. This Christmas I hope to wake up with a shiny new first baseman under the tree!

I have already clearly established that I don't give a shit if he is real or not. I like to argue. Sometimes I find doing so on this thread entertaining. Certainly doesn't mean I take Manky seriously.

With those players on board the Yankees win 4 out of the next 5 world championships.

Yeah, leave it to the Yankees to sign a bunch of All-Stars and still find a way to screw one season up. Buy those World Series flags, Mankster! You just pointed out that the Yankees can't develop their own talent. They have to buy it like all the other spoiled rich kids in the world.

    Just an idea:

Player homecomings are becoming more popular. We had Griffey's return to Seattle in 2009, then Thome in Cleveland this year.

Now, it's time for ARod to go back to where it all began.

I propose the Yankees send him back to the Mariners for Felix Hernandez. Obviously they will have to pay part of his salary to make it even (maybe 1/3 of what he's owed?) but this needs to happen.

The Mariners will get an attendance boost by having the greatest player in team history return home as he begins his chase of Bonds' record. The Yankees already have one infielder chasing history (Jeter's quest to become the new Hit King).

    What do you think?

Are you going to actually talk baseball or just throw insults?

It's not an insult if it's the truth. :D

    No.

I think a lot of non-Yankee fans are ready to see them become a powerhouse again. Baseball is more fun when the Yankees are the team everyone's trying to knock off the mountain.

So I am looking for ways they can start a new dynasty. Getting ARod's overpaid ass out of NY is a good start.

Get rid of Jeter. Let him chase "records" somewhere else ...
