    Re: Running Derek Jeter Thread

I posted a forecast of Jeter's season by season hit totals here a while back, I can't find it so I will do it again:

    2011: 3088 career hits
    2012: 3295
    2013: 3484
    2014: 3669
    2015: 3846
    2016: 4014
    2017: 4179
    2108: 4363
    2019: 4520

This forecast even accounts for Jeter taking more games off as he turns 40 so he can stay fresh. I only went through the end of this decade, of course he could keep playing beyond that to push the record into the stratosphere.

I think that your numbers are wrong. By 2108, Jeter will have passed 6,000.

Jeter is from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I propose the Yankees send him to the Tigers straight up for Brandon Inge so Jeter can finish his career in front of the home fans.

Isn't this supposed to be the chart for how entries in his black book will add up over the next few years?

I think we've established you're already No. 1. And nobody else is a close second.

I think this one is so stupid it is funny. The only question is whether or not the humor is intentional.

Hell, why not have them trade Freddy Garcia to the Blue Jays for Jose Bautista while you are at it? When you figure in the money, that might not even be as stupid as what your idea.
