OK. I'm not talking about a rehab stint...Inge got sent down to Toledo for a month because he SUCKED.

Inge didn\'t get sent down to Scranton, either.

I can't believe someone actually compared Jeter to Inge.

that would be tough unless MLB decided teams could loan players to other teams like European soccer.

Neither can I. Inge is a much better defender and he has a lot more left in the tank.

This is ridiculous. I'll guarantee that Jeter has more at-bats and a higher batting average for the rest of their careers. Inge is 34 and coming off a season in which he hit .197 (a full 10th of a point lower than Jeter) and was sent down to the minor leagues.

According to you, he was the MVP this year. Which one was it? Geez, you make this too easy, little guy.

Inge is younger and has a far quicker bat. He also has some pop left in his stick, unlike Jeter. Jeter can\'t even get the ball to the warning track anymore. And his arm and range are atrocious. Inge is a far more productive player. Imagine how good the Yankees would be with a decent shortstop, someone like Asdrubal Cabrera or Elvis Andrus.

Cabrera is only a decent shortstop?

Defensively. Offensively he is superior. If he works on it he could be outstanding defensively because of his arm, but he has trouble with the play to his left. He can go to the hole and take hits away, but to the glove side he needs work.
