Apparently, you don't see when people are playing along so well, either.

Maybe not since some of the directions the Mankster has taken us in are truly baffling! My head is spinning ...

I'm pretty sure I've stated several times that Ellsbury is the MVP for 2011, if we're only going by this season (even with the Red Sox collapes).

Jeter's 2011 season is good enough to win the MVP and when you consider all the years he should've won it and didn't, he deserves it as a 'lifetime' achievement pick.

So, when exactly was it that you chose to engage in performance art by imitating the dumbest of the people who call into sports talk shows?

Jeter wasn\'t even the best SS on the Yankees this year.

I'm not sure what you're getting at, because I almost never listen to sports talk shows.

And please point out what 'dumb' statements I've made. I've been mocked for saying that Derek Jeter is a future Hall of Famer and LaRussa is the greatest manager of his generation. Really controversial stands, those.

I'm curious ... why do you do this?

    Whatever, goofball.

Nobody has mocked you for saying Jeter is a Future Hall of Famer, so that right there was one more example of you posting something stupid.

Nunez is below average in every facet of the game.

Except for a half season in AA a couple years ago, he's never really hit much.

When Jeter was his age, he was batting .349 and leading the greatest team of all time to a world championship.

Jeter has been under attack on this board all year.

Some of the outlandish things you guys have said about him:

*His defense has cost them championships
*He will play so poorly he will lose his spot in the lineup
*Brandon Inge, .197 hitter, has more trade value than Jetes
*Jeter somehow is responsible for ARod not being beloved by NY media/fans

    and on and on.

Interesting, the things you learn here. I thought Jeter was a Yankee.

I don\'t mean to. Something about my server is messed up and puts slashes in where I don\'t want them. I could copy and paste from notepad into the comment box, but that is a hassle. If it bugs too many people I might have to start doing that.
