I've been trying to figure that out for months.

Jeter's a great guy. I look forward to being his teammate again. In more ways than one.

    Phew!

I'm glad that Jeter isn't gay.

Because, if he were gay, I'd have to try to become gay so that I could love him even more!

The World Almanac put Adele and Derek Jeter on the cover for their latest book.

This indicates that Jeter is considered the most relevant athlete of our time.

Nah. Nobody else was desperate enough to get some face time. Word is he's next month's Good Housekeeping cover boy.

I don't think Jeter asked to be on the cover

    Derek Jeter Factoids. A sampling:

In Derek’s junior high yearbook, students were asked to predict what they would be doing in 10 years. He wrote that he would be playing shortstop for the Yankees.

In high school, Derek’s throws from shortstop were clocked in the high 80s. He struck out just once his senior year.

On September 11, 2009, Derek passed Lou Gehrig as the Yankees' all-time hit leader.

In June of 2010, Derek recorded his 3,000th hit as a major leaguer—including postseason play.

Derek became the Yankees’ all-time stolen base leader in 2011. His 327th swipe eclipsed the mark set by Rickey Henderson

Derek enrolled at the University of Michigan in 1993, and he plans to go back and get his degree after his career. He makes annual wagers with Steinbrenner, a big Buckeye fan, on the outcome of the Michigan-Ohio State football game

In 2002, Derek was named the #1 good guy in sports by The Sporting News.

During Derek’s first year in the majors, he listened to Mariah Carey CDs as part of his pre-game routine. During his second year, he was dating Mariah.
