Marge vs. the Monorail: The best Simpsons ever?

Crowd in unison: "Monoraillllllllll, Monoraillllllllll, Monorailllllll ... MONORAIL!"
Homer: "Mono ... D'oh!"

 

The Frank Grimes episode is at the top of my list.

 

How about the one with Frank Grimes Jr.?

 

Mr. Plow is the greatest episode ever. Monorail is in the top 5.

 

"Now we play the waiting game."

...

"Awww, the waiting game sucks. Let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos."

 

"I call the big one bitey."

 

That is such an amazing line.

 

Itchy and Scratchy Land has to find a spot in the top 5, or at least others receiving votes.

 

My favorite is probably the Fat Homer episode. I think I quote it at least every hour.

"To order a special dialing wand..."

"Where's my Tab?"

"A FRIDGE TOO FAR!"

Nothing like starting the day with some Iroquois Twists, neither.

 

It's not even close, and there are at least 10 songs better than monorail. My all-time favorite episode is when Homer starts a new religion, and the better songs, of the top of my head include See my Vest, Who Needs the Quik-E-Mart, anything from the Shari Bobbins episode, and a dozen others I'm forgetting (though not "The Waiting is the Hardest Part - though it was a great scene). I'll agree on Hank Scorpio & the Beer Baron, but I was always troubled by Grimesy's dark ending.

 

Kamp Krusty is probably in my top 5.
