This proves she's not cheating? Maybe it proves that whatever she took dissolved between test A and test B or that she is good at sneaking into labs and replacing dirty urine.

I don't think any clean test proves an athlete isn't cheating. It just proves that they didn't catch them that time.

Nice idea . . . except the A and B samples are from the same whizz, I believe.

But not tested at the same time.

This should have been given bigger play in most papers than the no-hitter, particularly considering how the story was splashed across most papers when the failed "A" test was reported.

  5. I just get out the paintbrush and assume everybody cheats. Saves time and heartache.

Marion gets off on a technicality.

But my eye is on you, sugar.

I agree completely. And I'm not one to defend Marion; I think she has cheated like Bonds and the others. But, these are the rules, Dick Pound be damned. It shows there is a problem with the test. I'm more disturbed with the leaking of positive tests after the A sample but before the B sample.

    Which is irrelevant.

  9. Wonderful.
We want testing! We want testing!
Of course, we don't believe the tests.
But we believe that Marion Jones and her Howling Commandos watergated the testing facility in the dead of night and switched the samples.

Anybody else notice that this thread is bringing up ads for pregnancy tests?

If the A sample comes back clean, do they test the B sample to be sure?
