Yeah, that seems like a real possibility. Fat and happy Cardale would not make Urban very happy.

The Harbaugh-Meyer battle will add much-needed new blood to the rivalry. Miller vs. either Barrett or Jones on top of that would make the game the pre-season favorite for must-see-TV.

He looks like he went to the same School of Aging as Oden did.

There's a chance Cardale is 32 years old.

    He's a 12th-year sophomore, right?

Ok, guessing I'm the only one who watched every snap Ohio State played this season. So, I'll chime in.

Cardale had a HELL of a run. Historic. From strictly a physical standpoint, he's (by leaps and bounds) the best NFL prospect. He's also the most immature, the one (again, by leaps and bounds) that's struggled the most to master the playbook, the one with the least leadership qualities. Despite what we saw, his skill set is the poorest match for Meyer's offense.

From strictly the standpoint of making the offense work on all cylinders, Barrett was the best. Terrific distributor, highly under rated runner (the read option essentially was eliminated, once Jones took over), VERY bright kid, comes from a military family. Terrific decision maker on the field. Meyer & Herman's hand picked, first QB recruit. Natural leader with the LOADED freshman & sophomore classes.

Miller.....is Miller. We all know who & what he is, what he can do. Truth of the matter is, the FULL offense simply ran better THIS season, than either season Braxton was at the helm. Was still pretty d*mned good, though. Team LOVES him, but the upperclassmen, in particular. To the point OSU traveled one player short all season, so Miller could still travel with the team.

Bottom line: Barrett is the future. Period. No clue who (if either) stays.

Back to the thread title ... Kiper put up his first mock. It's behind a paywall and thus took a couple of places to cobble together, but he says Winston #1 to Bucs and Mariota #2 to Titans.

Jones presser today at 2. Almost a certainty he's headed to the league. Classes have started in Columbus, but he's been making appearances (and will be making his announcement) in Cleveland since returning fr/ Texas
