Make the video of ... what exactly?

Unless you spill it it's impossible to take this shit seriously.

Again, anyone who has Michael Irvin on his chosen list of journos has zilch credibility. Plus, somewhere in the mess that is his prose, I saw the word "subscribe." I think we're basically talking a long-winded spammer.

    He can't be a spammer -- he's Rokski's big brother.

Googling "John Villarreal" and McGwire is very entertaining...and blessedly brief.

You can't take yourself too seriously, LJB. As much of a dick as I can appear to be, I always try to keep my sense of humor. Hell, BYH and I weren't getting along a while back, and he wrote something hillarious in another thread, so I went and complimented him about it, saying something like "Talent trums courtesy." We get along great since then.

Ace's post was awesome - funny, succint, and witty. Gotta give props where they're deserved, even at my expense. Ha ha. ;)

Hey, I honestly think the whole thread is funny.

You and your brother ought to be in bill drafting.

Ha ha. You saying we're long-winded? :) If it makes you feel any better, we have written longggg contracts.

I've had it out with almost everyone, it seems, on this board (and I've only been here like 3 months!), but at the end of the day, I'm glad I'm a sports journalist and I respect everyone else here, sometimes the people I argue with the most.

I'm from the old school, you have a fight, you go back in and buy the guy a beer, lose or win. Then you sit and make up stories about how great the fight was so you both look better. That's my angle. There's things I'm more passionate about than others, like we all are. But I don't hold grudges, and I love the give-and-take of debate. Like we all do here, that's why we come here, or one reason, anyway. :)

    Hey In Exile

Google away my friend no worries - but as I said my website will be up soon and will have it all - much easier.

As I said, I have been below-the-radar for a while on purpose.

But hey, if you want to see some funny info on me on the web for those that can't wait check these out:

Look, like my brother said I tell the truth and have some good knowledge. Not to brag but my IQ has been tested at 174 & I love to learn about & research stuff. So it is what it is. However, among all of that I don't take anything too seriously, ESPECIALLY myself. I love to entertain and have fun while making good points and more that anything I can laugh at myself all the time.

Look, my bro and I came from nothing - literally. My mom raised 5 kids off of $16,500 a year by herself and what I have been able to accomplish - well I am proud of it - but I also don't take it for granted nor do I see it (or myself) as all that important in the grand scheme of things.

In the end, life is tough and we all die and lose loved ones along the way. So, if your not having some fun your doing something wrong.

The only thing that matters is if you are happy and are accomplishing your goals and taking care of your loved ones & responsibilities while not unjustly hurting anyone else - simple.

    John

Hey, anybody that knows some of the issues I've had on here about dropping resume knows I am NOT my brothers PR agent, and did not tell him to write his IQ here. :)

Seriously, though, one of the reasons Mark loved having John around was because he's funny as hell, and he would willing be the butt of the joke when necessary, which was often when you're dealing with bored, sometimes drunk pro athletes. John was often the life of the party even though he never drank a drop. The athletes couldn't believe he was so fun without drinking or doing drugs.

We're good guys, guys capable of being huge jerks like anyone else, but at the end of the day, decent guys. If you have the stamina to listen to our long-windedness. ;)

Hey, and just so everybody knows, I had ZERO idea John was going to post this stuff today. This isn't some coordinated effort by us, he just decided to do it. Just so you know.

I don't give a damn whether McGwire gets in or not. What pisses me off is the screwing that's being handed to Gwynn and Ripkin. Read Rick Hummel's column plugged in the SportsPages Top 10.
