I don't think he'll dominate but I don't think it's ridiculous to think he'll be in contention and that he can win. He hasn't won there in four years but he's been tied for third, tied for second, second, and sixth during that time. Obviously circumstances are much different coming into it than those years. And he has won after layoffs. Again, certainly different circumstances. I can't wait to watch and will even be willing to listen to Chris Berman to do so.

Cowherd is a simpleton's simpleton, unless you also believe that Woody Johnson is a smarter owner than Zigi Wilf, for signing Tomlinsom but despite Coinflipgate.

The shower tidbit was interesting. Well, it was weird. I don't know many people who cleanse to Colin Cowherd. Maybe he's invigorating. Like waterboarding. :D

What's even more frightening is stumbling onto the video simulcast of Cowherd on ESPNU while eating lunch. Then following that with a video simulcast of Francesa.

    Has Mr. Prizeman weighed in?

I've been driving all afternoon and am tired and don't feel like going through all of it, but has this been brought up? Who do the green jackets pair with Tiger in the first two rounds? My bet: Charles Howell III and Mark O'Meara.

I'd like to see him paired with Ernie Els and Paddy Harrington. Their grumbling would be heard all the way to downtown Atlanta.

Ain't gonna happen, by the way.

If Tiger finishes within shouting distance of first place, it will say much more about his mentality than his ball striking ability. (Am I repeating myself? Well, almost.)

As to Cowherd, the guy is a ninny. Is there any sport about which he's knowledgeable? I catch him on the fly sometimes, and I'm still waiting to hear him say one cogent thing.

For $1,000, do you take Tiger, or the field?

Field. Of either tight golfers or loose women.

Field and it's not even close.

  11. I don't feel like I'm in a position to pass this judgment. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. I would assume that they'd like to get things back to some sense of normalcy. The more tournaments he misses, the bigger the presence of the elephant in the room and the longer it drags on. You really think it would be good for their marriage to have the Masters going on and both of them knowing exactly why he isn't there?

Plus, this is his job. Who has the luxury of skipping months and months of work to work on their personal problems? At some point, you have to get your ass back to the office.

So, I'm looking at his player card at PGATour.com ... it looks like he missed a grand total of what ... three tournaments that he normally plays?

/or are there events missing from the results card?
