I'm now rooting for Stadler, just to see if Augusta has a jacket that will fit him.

 

What would Gus Johnson say about all this this?

 

Gus would never be asked to cover Augusta. Too screamy.

As for the others.. I just want some excitement on the weekend. But 50 and windy might suck all of that out.

 

Three straight birdies get Appleby into a share of the lead. Tiger 2-under for the round, three back.

At least that's what my slow computer shows.

 

Wetterich implodes on No. 4 with a triple. Only Appleby is under par, 1-under.

 

Everybody is slowly sliding away, and Vijay and Tiger are laying back at 1 over while they all slide by.

 

You know, I was going to compliment you for that insight, but you went and ruined it.

 

If Jerry Kelly wins the Masters I'm abandoning all interest in the sport.

Bogey-bogey finish for Tiger. Not out of it, but probably won't get into the last group unless those still on the course stumble.

 

Not sure what anybody else thinks, but, to me the coverage has been horrible today. It's like CBS has no idea who to show other than Tiger and Appleby. Just a hodgepode of guys, and nobody seems to know what to say about them or the awful shots they're making.
