Left to the jaw. That's his only shot.

I've been thinking about this fight, and I think there's a chance that McGregor tries to kick or knee Mayweather just out of sheer habit.

Was thinking about this yesterday too. At some point, does he just say, "fuck the rules" and just tackle him?

This is the result I'm actually rooting for. He instinctively spins into a capoeria kick and lands his heel on Mayweather's jaw, casuing a Tyson-Holyfield 2 type melee.

I also think if McGregor gets into trouble, he may shoot for a panic takedown like he did in the first Diaz fight. That would be hilarious to watch.

This just goes to prove that it is hard to look tough in a stupid hat, even for one of the best fighters on the planet.

I don't remember the details, but I had read that there are contract riders forbidding it. Dana White said that if McGregor used MMA he'd be sued for a lot of money "and McGregor likes his money." The question is, what if he does it out of habit due to years of training in MMA?

Not a huge MMA fan, but we've watched a couple of seasons of Ultimate Fighter, since my wife's best friend growing up was on one season. (And is on this weekend's bill in OKC.)

McGregor was a coach in one season. I guess he's playing a character to some degree, but God was he unlikable. Really hate the guy.

King is the king of writing indignant columns about things that have been happening for years like they're brand new because he just learned about them.

People have been accusing McGregor of being racist for a while now. He has gotten the opposite of a "free pass."

Who knows what the contract says, but it's kind of hard to believe he'd 'be sued for a lot of money.' So if he is getting dominated and Mayweather lands a low blow, McGregor reacts with something illegal and he gets sued? Don't think if it will be as lopsided as Kellerman said, with McGregor not landing one punch. But the punches landed probably will be 70-5 after 4 or 5 rounds and at that point wouldn't be shocked at all if McGregor becomes very frustrated and breaks some of the rules.

Almost as unlikable as Mayweather. Insane if you contribute a cent to watch this fight between two horrible people. #rantover
