As good as McNabb has been, he has struggled when the pressure was really on. ALL the pressure will be on him with the mediocre talent he has to work with. It's obviously an upgrade for the Redskins, and Kevin Kolb is a huge question mark in Philly, but I'm not ready to say this a bad deal for the Eagles, espcially if they got the No. 4 pick. Gotta see how things play out the next couple years.

Dan Snyder's that guy in your fantasy league who can never do anything right. And then it looks like he gets over on the perennial winner and steals a guy from him. Then you quicly realize why Dan Snyder always finishes in last and the other guy doesn't.

Trading for over-the-hill football players does not work.

The powers that be need to be kicked in the nuts unless that's the case. McNabb, for all his faults, is still one of the 5 or 10 best QBs in the league. He's got plenty of weapons now. Even if they weren't going to resign him after this season, it seemed worth it to bring him back for another go-round unless someone offered them enough players and picks to shore up the defense.
Trading him would've been bad enough. Trading him to a team in the division will come back to bite them in the ass.

    Plenty of weapons, Batman?

How long before Michael Vick starts telling people he deserves to be the starter?

Jay Glazer says Eagles get the #37 overall pick and either the Skins' third- or fourth-round pick from next year.

This shows that old Mike Shanahan isn't interested in building anything in Washington and just wants to shove his poker chips all in right now.

The Skins were NOT giving up the fourth pick for McNabb.

I'll be curious if the Skins use this to buy Bradford/Claussen some time, or if they decide this allows them to draft the tackle from Oklahoma instead.

Is McNabb worth the No. 4 pick? I say no freaking way.

McNabb is going to be 34 in November. That's over the hill for a quarterback?

Yes. Jackson is a tremendous deep threat. Maclin showed some promise for a rookie. I'm not sold on Lesean McCoy as the starting running back, but the receiving corps is solid and should only get better the next few years.

The Eagles must be convinced McNabb is pretty much done if they're trading him to a team in the division.
