As good as Cam Newton has been I think Terrel Pryor would be even better.

Vick as he played last night is off the charts.

Newton is not as fast as Vick. He is, however, way bigger and stronger. And he makes some unbelievable passes. Actually, he physically resembles Roethlisberger more than any other current NFL QB. I think he'll be a better pro than Roethlisberger, too, and Roethlisberger is pretty damned good.

Cam Newton is very similar to Vince Young. I'd expect similar production in the NFL.

He may get a shot as a QB but he's an athlete. He'll be on an NFL roster making a lot of money.

The two are undeniably similar in style. If you read back on the thread, you'll see that it's about QBs who ran the spread in college, with talk of Tebow and Alex Smith. Meanwhile, JaMarcus Russell got no mention. I think we're beyond race on this one.

I'm sorry there aren't any white quarterbacks who are 6-5, 240 and run a 4.5 40 with high completion percentages despite less than perfect throwing mechanics to compare Cam Newton to.
