It has been almost a month since Israel killed Hamas and Hezbollah leaders in other countries. Iran was supposed to respond immediately. None of the speculation seems to be reliable.

Where are the Saudis? They hate Iran and were bombing the shit out of the Houthis.

It would be interesting to see how far the US is willing to go after unsealing the indictments against Hamas leadership yesterday. Do they get involved militarily or covertly? Imagine grabbing the three leaders still breathing and whisking them away to a black site. Tell Israel to immediately cease their operations or whatever. From what I've read, the indictments make the US a "player" in their capture instead of just letting Israel have at it.

I look forward to learning how Israel pulled this off. Did they create a dummy corporation that supplied pagers to Hezbollah? Did they get a list of pager numbers and exploit pre-existing vulnerabilities that caused the pagers to overheat and explode?

Have read a few things today that seem to indicate the latter was first believed to be the case, but now with the larger number involved that the former may be in play.

Simultaneously causing 2,000+ (or whatever the number) to go off? That would take a hell of a hack to overheat them all at once. Maybe not impossible, but implausible compared to a long-range plan to set up a company, take advantage of Hez's use of pagers-devices, rig them, distribute and then wait.

They planned and waited to get the guy in the secluded palace corner room. A long play on pagers -- which the Hez leader said to quit using -- seems more plausible.

What’s crazy is that they are using pagers in 2024.

Israel doesn't fuck around in general, but it does some next level shit in communications and computers. Stuxnet was crazy in how complicated it was and how it was placed.
