The government denies Assad has fled, but it appears to be all but over.

This is huge for Israel, because Assad is the direct link between Iran and Hezbollah. Wonder what Russia's gonna do?

Assad has flown out of Syria. There are unconfirmed reports that the plane crashed shortly after take off, but those are Twitter gossip so far.
