Which bowl game is that? How do I get a credential?

There were pretty good steaks at the Camelback Marriott in Scottsdale in 2007 for the Florida-Ohio State BCS game. I think you could get the blowjobs at any bowl city.

Careful. What they didn't tell you was the BJ came from Brent Musberger.

If they invite you to lunch in a business related atmosphere they pay. If you invite them to do a story, you pay.

Auburn media are getting tight deadlines or no deadlines, and ice picks. And then when projected rack sales are down tomorrow, the power folk will be looking to blame someone and probably cut sports staffs to make up for the loss.

Since CNHI is housed in Alabama, you're on the clock.

All those jackets and tote bags are rounding errors compared to this. Check out this link: http://chronicle.com/article/Complaint-to-IRS-Faults-Orange/125801/

Nice. You could throw a pretty nice weekend festival on South Beach and maybe fly under the radar since you're the ORANGE BOWL. But no, you gotta do a Caribbean cruise. Idiots.

I would say, the one media gift I got that I really use a lot is a suit bag from a conference championship game.

After writing a glowing story about how great the conference championship game was, even though the final score was 42-3, and how great conference championship games are in general, I've used that suit bag a few times a year for about 7 years now.

I use to think conference championship games were a money-hungry waste of everyone's time. But not since my suit has had a comfy home for plane trips.

I'm not even a sportswriter anymore, but I stop random people on the street and tell them how great conference championship games are.

So I guess Obama was serious about wanting a college playoff and this is how he's going to get it, by siccing the Feds on bowl games.

Great use of taxpayer money that.

Those bowl games are quite a racket, though. The executive directors of most of these games make upwards of $100,000 a year and they all have staffs -- all to put on one football game a year?

I believe PlayoffPAC tweeted every bowl game has at least two employees making more than $180,000 per year. The director of the Sugar Bowl makes more than $600,000 per year.
