I'm thinking that if they ever update their site, this place has got to be promoted as the number one tourism site in town.

 

The ballpark actually does look kinda cool as you go by on I-90:

 

That's actually true. It does look like a nice little place to watch a game.

I went to the Air Show at the lake/beach in Gary last summer. It was very nice with a great view of the Chicago skyline.

The Mille Beach neighborhood looked ok, but a little sad. Same with the residential area close to the beach.

On the way home, I missed the highway entrance and ended up downtown. Terrifying.

With Donald Trump hot on the trail, all that birther stuff is going to be rekindled. And we're finally going to find out the truth this whole Hawaii/Kenya ruse.

The only reason that the president allowed it to go on so long is that it is just an elaborate cover-up to hide the fact that he was actually born in Gary.

 

Back around 1995 I-90 was shut down for construction and traffic was routed through Gary on either US 6 or 8.

Interesting drive.

 

Only in America can a poor black boy from Gary grow up to be...

Maybe it was just the result of a very mismatched game of hide & seek.

I mean, that's one hell of a hiding place.

 

Trump had a casino in Gary for a while. Except he said it was in "Buffington Harbor."
